For those whose flights will be landing in Shanghai

  • Option 1: Bus to Hangzhou

The Long Distance Bus Station is located in Terminal 1 and you can buy bus tickets at the Bus Station.  Usually there is a bus going to Hangzhou every hour during the day. The Long Distance Bus Station is very difficult to find (It is a long walk from Terminal 2).  It is not recommended for those who can’t speak Chinese.

  • Option 2: High Speed Train

Most arrivals from US to Shanghai will land in Shanghai Pudong Airport. You can take either the subway or taxi to Hongjiao Train Station (about 1.5 hour). There is a train going to Hangzhou every 45 minutes so you may purchase your train ticket on arrival at the train station.
