About CAFLL

Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania on February 1, 2010. It was granted the Federal income tax exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as of February 1, 2010.

Mission statement

The Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) promotes the accessibility of legal information and fosters the education of legal information professionals in the United States and China.

Vision statement

The rule of law in China and the United States is strengthened by a recognition of the central role professional law librarians play in collecting, organizing and making accessible each nations’ legal information.

Values

  1. Collaboration between Chinese and American legal information professionals
  2. Development of CAFLL into an ethical, inclusive, collaborative, and innovative organization.
